Hey, My name is Wils and I am 47 years young (thankfully I don't look 47) professional guitarist (and creative/art director & designer) from England, the UK who has relocated to Los Angeles recently mainly for the chilled out and laid back kinda lifestyle. I lived in CA, mainly in SF for 6 years when I was younger, and although London is one of the coolest cities going, I thought id chill in LA for a while and see if there's a band I could join. Either help get to the top or join for the ride. Even if it's just studio/session but I would rather kick it live... As that's where the fun is... I have a little bit, 30 years of experience and I'm fun to get wasted with!!!

The best... I'm a blues/rock guitarist. I grew up on Zep, Taste, Hendrix, BB King, Albert Collins... The list is endless obviously as I'm sure it is for most musicians. But these days I listen to the great jazz players, classical players, etc... If you're an amazing player I'm into you!!! I do respect the ability of fretboard wankers like Slash as they are brilliant at what they do plus I've met the guy a few times and he's a really nice guy... But he's not a bluesman and I think if you cant express heartfelt emotion just from playing a couple of notes instead of playing a hundred fast as hell your kinda missing what music is all about.. Ohh I also love Justin Bieber's early stuff as well as Billie Eilish ( she has a perfume range out now.. what a false twat ahh!) as they are pure sh*tE!... Bedroom recording artists.. haha. I said artists, who get big on the web should be used as chum to attract big sharks but thats just because i'm an evil fu*ker at heart.

EQUIPMENT

In the UK I have 17 les pauls, 135's, 335's, telecasters, strats, etc.. I'm mainly a Les Paul man though. the main amp is a 62 bluesbreaker.. I use what is required be it for a show or a record.. amazed by how good the spark amp is though for practicing at home...
In the USA... Just have a 59 reissue Les Paul (R9).. I can rent or buy anything else if its needed.
