ABOUT

I started playing for money in January of 1970. My first band was an 8 piece group and lasted for 5 years. Almost a miracle when you think how hard it is to keep 4 guys together sometimes.

Over the years I have written a few song, but most I wrote in 2007 and later. Quite a few of them, like "Daddy" or "My home in Tennessee", I wrote for my then girlfriend Stella Parton, Dolly's sister. My 911 song, "One September Morning", came about while watching the terrible events in New York city.

My first 'love' was the guitar and I made a career with it the early 80's. With my band "The four Windows" I played old 50's guitar tunes of the famous "The Shadows" with Hank B. Marvin. Tunes like "Apache", "FBI", "Atlantis", etc. EMI offered us a record contract and we produced several singles and one album named "Identity", with our own guitar tunes, of course. I wrote eleven of the twelve tunes and my "Lonely Seagull" became a summer hit in 1982 in Europe.

Nowadays I'm performing as a musical entertainer, aka One Man Band, singing Oldies hits on tracks and play the guitar. I love country music and wouldn't mind joining a local country band, but I'm probably too old for most, even though my voice is better than ever. We'll see...
