I recently moved out of Calif. to the wonderful state of Tennessee and am looking forward to putting a R&B/Funk/Jazz/Gospel band together, hopefully to play special events, fundraisers, concerts, opening acts for recording artists but NO bars/saloons!. I've been at this a long time and I am still enjoying it as much as when I started, maybe even more so now! I've played everything from top 40s/cover to jazz, country, funk, R&B, progressive, Gospel/ministry, opened for name recording artists and everything in between, including sessions work with several bands throughout the SF Bay Area and the north state over the last 50+ years. Primarily funk/jazz/R&B/Gospel as that's my main desire, as-well-as mixing improvisational skills.

Something that has punctuation and comes from the heart...playing on the 'and', and not only the downbeat!
