Established Journey tribute Worlds Apart is seeking a lead guitarist. Strong bgv strongly desired, good with harmonies and the occasional lead vocal.
Need not look the part, MUST sound the part, tone and accuracy is important. Stage experience required.
Band has been on hiatus, but opportunities exist to gig a couple times a month, or more. We've played the big rooms, Gas Monkey, GM Live, large corporate affairs and festivals. It's okay if you're in other bands, just need to make this band a priority. Six years running, this is a really good, tight band and whomever we choose will need to fit in both talent wise and socially. We do expect to hold regular practices, with decreasing regularity as gig opportunities increase once again.
We like to have fun, but keep it real. We're okay with your favorite, occasional liquid or natural distraction as long as it doesn't present a problem with your playing and attendance. Emphasis is on fun, nobody's getting rich, but we do love the music. We take it seriously and do our best to do it justice.
