"Your Somber Ghost has been in the music scene for about two years now and although it does not seem like a long time, their talents and synergy are compared to no one. They are an ambient sounding group with the hard hitting progressive rock of today. The project started by John Mancinelli and Nick Ellington has grown into a quartet of the most talented. The band it influenced greatly by: Radiohead, R.E.M., Incubus, Third Eye Blind, Social Distortion, Sigur Ros, The Cure, and REO Speedwagon. Your Somber Ghost has a huge fan base and has already been asked to play numerous shows, some including with: The Autumns and Chasing Long Beach. Higher Level Productions has come out and published in a valley wide magazine article stating the band is: 'On the verge of big success.' The men of YSG have also been asked to play at the Whiskey, Chain Reaction, The Summer Meltdown (Santa Clarita Valley’s largest concert of the year and have had turn-outs of 2,000+ people) and to headline a 'Battle of the Bands' in the state’s capitol. Since then, YSG has been asked by Warner Bros. to put some of their songs on television shows and have been looked at by the Senior Director of A&R and Co-Founder of Windswept records.
