In For Closure is a modern pop-punk band based out of San Diego. As of right now, we are self-produced and operate out of a home studio in La Mesa. The home studio is well equipped and spacious for practice sessions as well. All writing, recording, mixing, and mastering has been done in-house.
We are looking for a drummer that is excellent at following a click track, as that will be extremely important during the recording process.
Other desired qualities are:
Well versed in a variety of drumming styles
Has some skill with simple double bass beats
Has a well tuned kit with high quality cymbals
Can take direction and suggestions well (we will often leave beats up to the drummer but may make some suggestions during the writing process)
Above all, we are looking for bandmates that are passionate about the genres we write within, and are cool and friendly. We want a welcoming and creative environment during practice and writing sessions that make it feel more like a group of friends who jam together. At the same time, we do take our music very seriously so we only want bandmates that have a lot of passion for the music and are willing to show up to each practice/writing session fully prepared and able.

Influences
All current members grew up listening to almost all genres of music, but our writing influences range from modern pop-punk, post-hardcore, hardcore, metalcore, and alternative/emo.
