ABOUT

I'm looking for an experimental instrumentalist to collaborate on an unconventional-format experimental ambient breakbeat drum and bass project outside of guitar supremacy and conventionality for fun and recording. If we have enough of a catalog of songs, I'd like to play locally.

As for myself, I am a 44 year old who's been playing bass guitar since I was 12 (mainly fingerstyle and slap pop) and drums off & on since 16. I also play an eclectic mix of modified folk, ethnic, and toy instruments

I am technically proficient but I prefer to shoot for melodic syncopation instead of virtuosity. I strive for heavy contrast with clean cathedral lush washes against fuzzed out dissonant passages with both traditional rock instrumentation and modified folk instrumentation in unconventional formats. I'm just hoping to find more forward-thinking multi-instrumentalists who care more about their craft than alcohol & drug use.
