hmmm...........well, i listen and have listened to alot of different stuff over the years. of late i've been into coheed and cambria (im a sucker for epics and killer riffs, plus i love the comics)and Protest the Hero. other stuff i listen to include but are not limited to: lamb of god, slipknot, the mars volta (ATDI too), sparta,metallica, pantera, the liks, deftones, sublime, beck, the beastie boys, tool, incuubus, shadows fall, muse, thrice, kse, slayer, the strokes, the white stripes, Dethclock, Dillenger Escape Plan, smashing pumpkins, red hot chilipeppers, NIN, devil driver, cake, phish, john mayer (and his trio), SRV, ICP, my chemical romance, cephalic carnage, avenged sevenfold, the scissor sisters, mastodon, system of a down, QOTSA, stuff like that. i love blues and jazz, as well as the neccesary rock staples, ie: zep, floyd, hendrix, sabbath, the beatles, the who, etc.
EQUIPMENT
ive been poor my whole life. i keep telling myself "all true artists were broke-asses before the hit it big", but it still doesn't help me accumulate gear or pay my bills.
