These days I’m primarily in instrumentalist, but I’m thinking of trying to get back into singing. I used to sing primarily. Back then I played guitar, a lot of acoustic, some electric, but if I do step into a singing role I’d like to do that and only that if possible. Just because I’m a little rusty and I would like to devote all my energy to one thing. Now days I’m primarily a bass player. I really liked singing though and I hope to reconnect with my inner teenager and get my confidence back in that regard. I enjoyed writing lyrics and vocal lines and performing. I also really enjoy playing bass…. It’s just different. Anyway, i wouldn’t be opposed to stepping into that role, the bass i mean… as long as I got to take part in the instrumental side of the song writing . I’m not super into jumping into a band with a bunch of already finish material as an instrumentalist. I like collaborative writing.
