ABOUT

Songwriter, Producer, Blues singer, guitarist...

Did a thousand concerts before I was 19 and haven't slowed down. Was on the road 300 days of a year since 2005 when I decided to take a year off and move to Carolina for the hiking.

I travel solo and use pick-up bands when I need them. Every album I've recorded is different from the last, and the next one will be also. I've worked with 7 Grammy Award winning Producers to release 12 albums since 1998. Hoping to put a band together in Asheville for the next album. I'd really love to have an all-girl band, but won't discriminate against a guy who fits. ;-)

Was on a couple of Sony/BMG labels from 2001-2009 and bought my way off to own the rights to future songs and put out 5 projects since. Don't really need a label with hundreds of venues and a world-wide following.

Had fronted mostly indie original bands since the late 70s. (Was a small child, ok?) As a songwriter, my music until now is mostly blues based guitar-driven rock with influences of Klezmer, Mizrachi, British and roots-rock.

Have spent a lifetime being underestimated by people who only look at the cover of a book, and surprised them all. The best is yet to come.
