You Rest, You Joy Life is an indie/alternative band formed in 2016, drawing influence from the likes of emo, punk rock, post-hardcore, and post-punk. We are seeking a full-time bass player between the ages of 18-26 with an ear for harmony and feel for rhythm. We have released two records, toured, gigged all over the state of Michigan, and just finished recording our third record. We ask our potential bassist to have commitment and availability to regularly rehearse and write, as well as tour and gig.
