i am almost finished writing a 60+ minute lovecraftian hard rock/doom metal concept album (in the styles of tool, sabbath, faith no more). ultimately, i would like to find two guitarists (preferably with 7-strings), a bassist (4 strings is the minimum :P) and a drummer, hopefully with any of these also having the ability to cover backing vocals in the baritone/tenor range to play it live where i will be covering the lead vocals and frontmannery (idealistically in its entirety with props and costumes...its very theatrical stuff) and ultimately record it in a pro studio. i've been playing and writing for over twenty years, with a number of bands under my belt. age is not an issue on my end. drinkers and herbalists are okay.

i tend to listen to quite an eclectic mix...Black Sabbath, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Tool, Black Dahlia Murder, Slayer, P!ink, Ke$ha, Necrophagist, Nile, Metallica, Megadeth, Tiger Lillies, Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer, Andrew Bird, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Queen, Nocturnal Rites, Ozzy, also just started getting into Opeth...Almost everything hair band/80's rock related, some country, a whole bunch of jazz/lounge, classic rock, i could go on for hours, but you get the idea. i find that all music has something you can learn from and incorporate into your repertoire...
