I have played many gigs and want to contiune. I am cleared with the wife and kids to play every weekend. They probably want me out of the house! Would prefer to be in established band, or in one that has upcoming gigs. Have done subbing on many ocassions.
I prefer my love of classic rock from the 60's to the current 90's. Throw in the southern rock, funk,a little R&B, and away we go. I work well with the musician's and have no heavy baggage. Non-smoker and a beer at the end of the night. I have played the above and enjoy some current country. I have a steady tempo, like to compliment the guitars, and let the folks feel the bass guy. It started with the Ventures and continues with The Beatles, Stones, ZZ Top, Birds, Eric Clapton, Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, CCR, Billy Joel, up to Molly Hatchet, Brian Adams, Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, REM, Eagles, Police, Spin Doctors, Rod Stewart... Can I stop now. Ginger Baker, Charlie Watts, Phil Collins, and of course Neil Peart.
EQUIPMENT
3 kits- DW, Gretsch, and Mapex. Zildjian cymbals, DW double bass pedal, Shure in ears, AKG head mic., Shure Drum Mics. Lights and LED light bar. Ford 150 for transportation.
