My name is Zac and I'm 18 and I want to start a small jazz group I need saxes bones trumpets and rythm I want at least two altos two tenors and a bari I can cover an alto or tenor part and it would be prefered sax players can play other woodwind instruments such as flute clarinet oboe bassoon etc. it would also be prefered if trumpet players had cornets flugelhorns etc. I need at least 4 trumpets and bones and atleast a pianist , bass , guitar , and drums and I'd also like to jump around on instruments and parts within the section I don't care who plays what as long as you can play it and it would be prefered that everyone reads sheet music and you must provide your own equipment including amps , instruments , stands , cords , chairs , and stools and such at the moment I have two pieces of sheet music or a place to practice I figured we all could pitch in on that this group is for fun , performing , and maybe even competing and someone who can arrange would be great!
