This is a band that is trying to contribute something to the art...
We're not some rock star band, we're not a political movement, and we're not some super doped up artsy fartsy band either.
We are 2 people (currently) who are trying to transpose the present day into sound.
We know the rules/conventions of writing music. We're not about purposely breaking them, but its highly unlikely that we be consistent with them.
We're writing new music for this new decade, trying to give back what musicians gave us in our time of musical puberty. Because music in the span of the past 5-10yrs has diminished so fast its not even funny.Whether we're making this our career or our personal pleasure, we're making this happen. There is commitment here, and its not driven by fame or fortune, but rather by appreciation and passion.
We have been writing new music for the last few months and are looking to fill a 45min set worth of material. We've got a few songs done with just a guitar player and drummer. Originally I had no intention of actively searching for musicians to fill out the band until I have a demos worth of songs to at least present. I have been scanning through bass player profiles and a lot of musicians here don't have emails in their profile description. I don't have a premium account yet and I probably won't until I have material worth posting and paying for the premium account. So I can't email any of you. I've left my email here, hopefully you will drop me a line or something.
