ABOUT
Over the past 20+ years I have been in and out of various bands, but mainly settled into an acoustic duo that I spent most of my time performing with around Alaska during my 20's and 30's. Over the past 10 years I have been playing solo at some of south central Alaska's hot spots, (Kenai, Soldotna and Anchorage) including 3 monthly and weekly house gigs. I've also played a wide range of special events, and hosted/MC'd weddings with my entertainment company. The past 4 winters I've spent in San Pedro, Belize playing 3 nights a week in the local beach bars, and hosting themed nights such as FireBall Friday's at the Rum Dog, The Nauti Crab, and Crocs Sunset Bar. I recently relocated to Memphis, TN with a career change, and now I am looking to gain a new following around the area.
Genres that I play are mostly older rock and newer country hits, with a mix of main stream pop/rock filling out my set list. My favorite songs to play are the ones that people wouldn't normally expect a solo acoustic artist to play, giving them my own take and twist on how I hear and feel the song. Some of the songs on my set list include acoustic renditions of Elton John, Michael Jackson, Jason Al'dean, Sublime, Blake Shelton, White Snake, Ozzy, and Pearl Jam, along with numerous other ranges of genres.
Being a solo acoustic artist, I feel confident entertaining anything from a late night bar scene to the day time coffee shop crowd. I can alter my sound to fit the room as seen fit.
