ABOUT
Formed in the smokey back rooms of honky-tonks and juke joints across the south. Colonel Robert was born in Memphis Town, instilled with a burning desire to play music and to live life on the wild side.
Torn between his first love of playing drums and his old man's desire for him to carry on the tradition of picking guitar, He battled the demons this created inside of him with booze, drugs and the false love of barroom angels.
Armed with the promise of his momma that if he wrapped himself in his music, his music will always be there for him, Colonel Robert set out on the road at a young age to make his mark.
His moma was murdered when he was only nine, leaving him with a pain in his heart, and a poet's soul, though this soul would have to go through a baptism of fire paid for by years of one night stands, groupies and a collection of bad bands and crooked managers!
The sound of his drums was heard around the world. Now his writing would be too.
His haunting lyrics and unusal voice and guitar style has been called everything from Traditional Country to Rockabilly and beyond.
One things for certain, once touched by his music, you are never the same!!!
