A Lens to the Sun is a progressive alt-rock band out of North County San Diego known for fusing together an eclectic set of genres including the brooding introspective rock of Radiohead and Muse, the cinematic arrangements of Porcupine Tree, the ambient mysteriousness of the Cure, the playfulness of Travis and nods the new romantic era songwriters of the 1980’s including Roxy Music, David Bowie, Sting and Elvis Costello.
