I'm an old guy, playing for fun and improvement. Not to say I won't do a paid gig, but that is not my priority. I play classic jazz, older jazz (20s on up to maybe early 60s), western swing, hillbilly jazz, can paly rock but don't want to get too loud. I've done folk, blues (all styles of blues from John Hurt to W.C, Handy). I can read and can write basic arrangements. Major instrument is guitar, can handle electric bass and a litte upright bass. Have a pedal steel but never really figured it out!
