We are looking for a solid..hard hitting.. no frills drummer for an upcoming Television show here in Los Angeles. We will be shooting on the 28th of this month (April) it’s a Wednesday. You will have 2 rehearsals with the band prior to the day we shoot. Also you will be required to take 2 Covid tests (at our expense) prior to shooting. We are seeking someone in the style of Eric Kretz.. Charlie Watts.. Steve Gorman etc. Small kit. Bass drum..snare..tom. This is goin back a ways but if you remember the drum sound...(that popping snare in particular) on “Mixed Emotions” Stones circa 89ish? Great example of a straight ahead... hard hitting drum style & sound. The snare just pops... the drum sound in general in cranked up and out front in the mix exactly as it should be. There’s not a ton of fills etc all over the place but when there is anything... it’s always tasty never overdone. Bottom line...he’s playing for the song... in the song. Not on top of it.

Members Of Band
This is a band of seasoned professional players from Hollywood and other parts of Los Angeles. All members have played in multiple bands and have extensive experience in recording and live shows... touring etc.
As mentioned... we are currently looking for a drummer to play on a song that will be taped live on April 28th and aired later this year. This is a established National show with millions of viewers. Truly a great opportunity for National exposure that could lead to more. Right now we need to lock down a responsible drummer that’s ready to jump on this... right Now. No time wasters we don’t have the time. If you look the part... that definitely wouldn’t hurt. Especially as this is a for aTV show. That said... your talent...professionalism easy going demeanor and of course your ability to suit up n show up on time is much more important.
EQUIPMENT
You... need to have a small kit that you are able to set up and tear down yourself. We’ll help you no problem however because of Covid restrictions... we are not able to have a road crew etc and have been asked to keep our camp as small as possible. Translation... other then the show crew... camera team etc this is band only on this one.
If you think you fit the bill... get in touch with a bit about yourself ... experience etc. A pic or two and a recording of something you are playing on. One or two tracks is plenty. We need someone ASAP as the drummer we had broke his hand and now we don’t have much time to make this happen. We will contact you within 24-72 hours max from your submission if we are interested. Please understand if you don’t hear from us within that time frame we have either found someone or you were simply not what we were looking for. We would like to get back to everyone who contacts us out of respect however... we are really on a tight schedule here. We will do the best we can.
