I just moved to San Francisco a couple of weeks ago from the Denver/Boulder area and am looking for some other serious bands/ projects to be a part of. I'm looking for a group that has some momentum built, not necessarily on the brink of a serious national tour, but also not jamming in A for and hour and a half.
I've been playing Bass for around ten years and have been playing in live bands for around seven. I've played in various Funk, Rock, Bluegrass, Jam, Folk, and Spoken Word/ Hip Hop bands over the years, I like to keep it fresh and keep learning by playing with all kinds of different musicians. While in Colorado I was a part of three projects, Down With Naked, a five piece funk/rock/folk project that focused on community based non profit shows, The Tremmens, a four piece rock group that had influences deeply rooted in song writing/composition that borrowed much of it’s sound from bands like Wilco and Elliot Smith, and No Material, an ever revolving group of musicians that focused on spontaneous improv music, which never featured the same line up twice.
I’m looking for a band that likes to integrate unique and various genres into it’s sound, preferably a quartet or quintet with some Key’s being a definite plus.

Although to numerous to cover completely, some of my musical influences include, John Paul Jones, Phil Lesh, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, Flea, Charles Mingus, Oteil Burbridge, Mike Gordon, Jack Bruce, the list goes on...
EQUIPMENT
I play a Modulus Quantum 5 Bass through A David Eden CXC410 combo Amp. I own a Boss GT-6B Bass Effects Processor but don't always use it as i prefer to stick to a more natural Fat,Chunky & Bright Tone.
