ABOUT

Hi! I'm an aspiring multi-instrumentlist! Starting to get decent in some areas of music, love experimenting in many others, but self taught and don't have much in the music theory dept. I play by ear mostly, simply for the love of it and the creative outlet, but i feel like the right the right people to collaborate with, my interest and motivation could jump an order of magnitude. Def into offbeat stuff, but also dig the singer songwriter vibe, to some degree. I like a raw, acoustic song with an edge, an unusual alt/indie rock jam, or a sonic edm explosion - industrial, noisy and dissident, with lush overtones and a driving sub-sonic beat. Or even better: combine all those things together! I'm pretty techy - have built and modded my own instruments - and know how to use (and geek out with!) all kinds of audio and performance gear and software. I love the idea of combining traditional music and cutting edge soundscapes, all with a chill, quirky charm - or a dark, edgy underscore, depending on my mood. I think working on creative projects and jamming with people who share some of my (widely varied) interests and motivations is the most fun and rewarding thing ever. I'd even be curious about rolling in some of my other art and stage production skills to create a full audio/visual experience (i.e. Music + lighting, video, sculpture, etc.) If you share any of these interests, lets meet up!
