I am semi-retired individual starting to play music again at a serious level. I play for fun, to write, with a serious potential commitment if the project is right. My music has been on the back burner for the last 20 years, but before that I was a dedicated practicing musician. I am starting it all up again.

Influences
My earliest influences are Lonnie Mack, Chuck Berry, Booker T and the MG's, etc. and then of course early blues, Jimmy Reed, and then the influences of American rock and role bands like Quicksilver, Bloomfield, Clapton, etc. and I grew up with many of them living around me in California. I lived in SF near Haight Ashbury and frequented all of Bill Grahms places and the family dog Avalon ballroom as well. I followed all the concerts, and played once at the Filmore, Longshoreman's Hall, the Cow Palace, and on TV with all "Jazzbo" Collins. I jamed with the Goshorn Brothers in Cincinnati and have friends in the bsuines there. I have since studied serious straight up traditional jazz and I like it a lot.

I have enough equipment for myself and that's about it, things are tight these days and I can't support a full group or provide the house systems.
