As an instrumentalist, I fall somewhere on a spectrum between John McLaughlin and One-Note Slim. As a vocalist, I fall somewhere on a spectrum between Jerry Jeff Walker and John Hartford. That's not a lot of spectrum, I know. I used to be more of a fingerpicker, but I find that I can get most of that feel/color from flatpicking+fingerpicking. I'm currently obsessing over melodeon/button accordion; I don't think it's just a phase. Stay tuned.

EQUIPMENT
Various guitars, none of them plugged in at present, cheap/ugly eBay fiddle that really honks, cheesy Gretsch Chinese mandolin, Hohner apprentice melodeon in C/G, access to a nice keyboard accordion.
