Looking to hire an experienced pianist/keyboardist to add music to my lyrics and melodies for use in an alternative rock band with piano/keyboard at its heart. I've written an album's worth of melodies to songs that meld modern alternative rock with other genres and my specific influences' various styles. I have a BA in women's studies (and a masters in english) and these songs are a feminist/queer concept album about teens in an insane asylum in the 70s-80s who suddenly begin to develop psychic powers. Women and gay guys move to the front of the list, but I will of course consider anybody qualified and open minded. I can only pay $100/hour a few times a month, but I hope you'll be in it for the fun/artistry. I would want sheet music, and ideally we would piece together a band on here with someone with a crude recording space to put together a demo, do a circuit of live shows, the works.
