ABOUT
I am primarily a bass player with experience in rock cover bands. I also have a strong interest in drums and percussion.
I work a typical 9-5 M-F job and have reasonable family commitments. My ideal band situation would be:
- Typically rehearse once a week, on the same weeknight. Learn 40-50 songs, gradually add more once gigging.
- Play 5-20 gigs per year.
- Have input on song choices and arrangements.
- Contribute to a share of non-musical tasks (spreadsheets, social media, gear setup, etc.).
I am not a writer, but I’m open to original bands and projects that focus on recording. I’d be happy to develop bass/drum parts.
Musical notes:
- Best at fingerstyle bass, but will gladly play pick and slap.
- Prefer rock, (pop) punk, pop, funk, blues, country. Enjoy some early metal (Priest, Maiden) but not interested/skilled in most heavier genres.
