In early 2012 lead singer/song- writer Wes Pagano joined with drummer Mike Brown, bassist Paul FitzGerald, pianist Tristan Hendy and lead guitarist Jon Monter to form Bullet Made Statues.

With their psychedelic blend of indie rock grit , r&b grooves and punk rock energy, Bullet Made Statues makes music that is fresh, inspiring and heart-felt. While the band’s sound evokes comparisons to artists such as The Flaming Lips, Whitest Boy Alive, The Grateful Dead, Incubus, and Jamiroquai, Bullet Made Statues stands on its own. With Pagano’s engaging lyricism floating atop a driving fusion of lush piano textures, funky rhythms and searing guitar, the band creates a genuinely refreshing sound.

Having played to enthusiastic audiences in packed venues throughout Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, Bullet Made Statues has developed a strong and dedicated following. Besides now playing five to ten local shows a month, they are scheduled for a South By Southwest Tour from March 7th -17th, 2013; a LA to Seattle Tour from March 30th-April 7th, 2013, and a UK Tour in July 2013. Their live show has been described as “like dancing on a volcano that's about to erupt!”

Bullet Made Statues released their first EP "Autumn" in January 2013, the first of four seasonal EPs: Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer. In keeping with the DIY ethos of rock and roll, the EPs are recorded by the band themselves in their studio and released by their record label Ponderosa Records. They are produced by US producer Tristan Hendy and UK producer Andrew Helps (Stone Beard) and mastered at BA1 Records in England. The single "Okay Man" is set to be released on Daddy Longlegs Records in the UK for BBC radioplay in early 2013. The band has been featured in both the US and UK on radiostation Somer Valley FM 97.5 out of Bath, HotMix106 out of Sacaramento as well as in music blog Ellenwood Popmusic.

This series of EP's are a stepping stone to a full-length album to be recorded with Grammy winning producer Ron Saint Germain in mid 2013. Saint Germain has played a pivotal role in the band's creation and development. The album will also be mastered by multi-Grammy winning mastering legend Joe Gastwirt.
