Looking for serious professional musicians, not "rock stars", to perform regularly, have fun and make a little money. If that is you contact me and lets get busy playing music. Looking to play with "group minded" people, not egocentric musicians.
I am able to tour in country or Europe if opportunities arise. Occasional out of state road gigs are a lot of fun
I have an isolated practice room on my property and prefer to practice here so I don't have to spend 3 hours just moving equipment for a 2 hour practice session.
Can fill in as a "PRN" drummer if your drummer has to miss a gig, just had a psych breakdown and flaked out on you and is now MIA. I can jam on the fly or read drum scores, if you have them. Just send me your set list and drum scores.
I prefer live performance but studio work is welcomed. I enjoy working in studio atmosphere and composing and laying down new original music. A combination of live & studio performance is ideal.
I am a very experienced, classically trained percussionist however, I have played set drums the last 25 years and have been performing for the last 45 years, playing all styles of music.
NO RAP ! If you want to play rap, get a drum machine, you don't need a drummer. I have played large concert arenas and small clubs in the USA & Europe, so venue is not an issue.
I am not a robotic drummer. I do not play songs exactly like the record, although I can if needed, but I don't change the character of the song either. I add a personal style to where the general public doesn't know the difference. If you want a drummer who sounds just like the record buy a Linn drum machine and program your rhythms.
I can read & write drum scores if needed so studio work is fine. I have studio session experience (played for 6 years in Nashville) so I am familiar with the studio protocol.
