I have been playing for years, and take music "seriously", in that there is nothing I enjoy more. But I am most interested in it being fun. I have a full time job, and do not need to gig to eat. I do not use enthusiants, and while I don't care if others do in moderation, I don't have a whole lot of patience for those who find this more important than playing.
I mainly play guitar, and slide but I enjoy bass as well, and have been slowly learning stand-up bass, pedal steel, and teaching myself basic keys. I will never be a great keyboard player, but I can add ambiance.
