Looking for jams, willing to fill-in/support for gigs, but currently don't have the time for another full-time project. Playing in a band steadily. Competent bass player with many years of experience. Basic knowledge of music theory, decent time, and able to pick up quickly and improvise by ear. I play a lot of styles from rock, punk, blues, R&B, alternative. I'm most comfortable playing rock, but I can usually adapt to what is needed for the music. I'm not the most techy/fast player, but can usually find a way to support the music/band. Comfortable playing with fingers or pick, not really into slap. Influences
Lots of different influences/interests in music, but the bass players I first noticed and got me interested in playing were John Paul Jones, Jack Bruce and Geezer Butler. I wouldn't necessarily say I sound like any of them, but players I admire. I'd also draw influence of punk/new wave/post-punk bands of the late 70s and 80s. Not big on top 40 country/top 40 in general. Lots of exposure/knowledge of classic rock, but not interested playing it much anymore.
