Band to Join.ABOUT
Clarification - regarding seeking band to join, I am more interested in jamming occasionally and shorter term collaboration, unless I encounter that Goldilocks situation.
Tunes are from my last project, about a year ago, which fell apart this summer – everything amicable, just people had different demands on their time. I am retired, mostly a keyboard player, but currently am doing open mics with me on acoustic guitar and my wife and I singing. Right now, “playing it by ear” as far as forming another band. I am interested in meeting acoustic guitar players, drummers (or cajon players) and bass players to see if there are any musical sparks. Eventually would like to work towards playing out at local low-key venues near Puyallup. I have had some years of experience playing in bands in the past. Generally pretty easy to get along with, but like to get things done in practice; prefer to practice and play out sober; we like to play with controlled volume.
The tunes below include some warts, but give you an idea what we were about. We have a kind of eclectic song list, mainly lesser known or lesser played bluesish/folk/Americana covers. Our list also includes a few more uptempo tunes.
