I live in Girard Estates with two dogs and my wife. I’m 54 years old, an empty nester, and have time outside of work and hanging out with my wife and kids, to rehearse and play music. Music is a passion and I just want to find a partner that wants to work slowly but deliberately on a solid 2-3 sets and then play in a duo at wineries, weddings, pubs, and events.
Musically, I started singing at age 10 in church choir and then evolved into playing guitar, drums and bass Along the way I have taken fingerpicking, classical guitar as well as music theory lessons. I considered a full time music school but bailed on that notion.
Today my main instrument is the guitar (and drums) and I can sing (think Zak Brown).
I’m good at musical production and live looping. I want to get into tracks prep and pre production to add bass or percussion to some songs as I think that extra element with a duo is a nice touch.
Throughout my life, I’ve played in ~8 different bands in all different styles from rock to punk to pop to dance and blues. I know literally hundreds (?) of songs, can play leads and bass lines, and am a fast study of new songs.
