ABOUT

Sang before I could talk or walk. It is my heart, my expression, my light in the darkness. Not looking to make a record, just looking for some people to play with, that I can learn from. Willing and able teachers. I have sang in choir throughout my life. But I have never performed with a live band. I have auditioned for a few and had a few call backs, even a short stint in one, but nothing long term other than church. Most of my gigs were church related. In fact the first time I ever sang in front of anyone I wasn't related to, was in church as a little girl. As an adult I spent a decade or so singing in the church choir weekly during Sunday services as well as doing special events and festivals. I headed up a group that went to nursing homes to sing for awhile. I love to sing.

Influences

Amazing Grace. Church Hymnals. Everything. Good Music. From classical to rock. Born in the 70's and raised on music. I love music. I love the great old country singers, like CASH, and the 90s grunge scene starters like nirvana and stone temple pilots, modern rock, new age rock. And of course all the big classic rockers like Pink Floyd and Petty.

The pipes God gave me and a few crappy microphones.
Sorry guys, I don't bring a lot to the table. No technical experience. No equipment to bring. No instruments. Not even any drama.
Just a bright smile and an enthusiastic desire to learn and have fun musically. Maybe play some old folks homes and do some charity gigs. Happily married but my kids are just about grown so I can focus on some of the things I love once again. Like music.
