Chronic Town plays 30 years of hits and obscurities of one of the USA's most successful alternative rock bands, R.E.M.. We've been doing this on and off since 2004. We have an opening for a 2nd Guitar/Keyboard player to fill the role of 5th unofficial member Peter Holsapple (I guess).
You'll be playing either guitar or some synth/piano parts on most songs. You should be able to play the honkytonk piano on Don't Go Back to Rockville, and dial in the sound of the Great Beyond and everything in between. We need a guitar/keys guy who can learn the material quickly & accurately.
Backing vocal ability is a big plus.
Come see us play the Starry Plough, Friday July 13 2012, we're the middle slot, so roughly 10:30-11:30.
