ABOUT

I am a mature bass player looking to make music with other serious musicians who want to do the work to produce the best quality of music we can and play out 2 to 4 times a month. I am NOT a partier and I am not looking to become a rockstar... been there, done that, grew up. However, that's not to say that if things are clicking and people liked it, I wouldn't go as far as it would go. I just am not in it primarily for fame, accolades, etc. Just tired of getting involved in musical endeavors, investing a lot of effort, only to have others involved lack the commitment to quality and discipline.

Currently, I play bass in my church praise and worship team. We practice once a week and play at one service each Sunday.

Prior to involvement in church praise and worship music, I played bass in a Christian Contemporary band (CCM) that saw some very moderate regional success, playing youth events and outdoor festivals.

Started playing bass at 13 years old and played in classic and southern rock bands through my teens and early twenties, finishing with a metal band in my early twenties that was writing original material. After this, I stopped playing for about 7 years while I got a degree and a steady job. When I returned to playing bass, I was playing with a vocalist and a guitar player doing a mix of popular CCM tunes and some originals. This is what became the CCM band referred to earlier after we added a drummer and a lead guitarist.
