Jefferson "Chuckie P." Parrish is a local artist born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up in a musically inclined family playing musical instruments became second nature to Chuck. In a culturally diverse area like Atlanta different music is in overabundance, but throughout his younger years Chuck settled into the Hard Rock scene with the local band "No Trust". As the lead singer and bass player for "No Trust" shows were being played from small town venues to opening for big name bands like Anthrax and Family Force Five. After 5 long years the band split and went in new directions. Chuckie soon found himself in Statesboro, Ga with a fist full of new songs, a brand new music scene, and an undying urge to play his heart out. Chuckie P.'s new album "Radio Funk" features songs like "Badass Mama-jama", the singer/songwriter's self procalimed theme song, to others like "Backfall" and "Some Girls" and even his own version of the Lynyrd Skynyrd's hit "Sweet Home Alabama" that will have you on the edge of your seat and rocking the night away. This is the music you can hear on the radio at any turn of the dial. So, if by chance you are not yet a Chuckie P. fan, give it a listen, its guaranteed you will be singing along to your favorite Chuckie jam soon enough.
