SEEKING
Upright bass, Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar.ABOUT
BACKGROUND: Started with banjo in the 1980s, then in the 1990s become addicted to the short-lived New Acoustic music wave, e.g., David Grisman Quintet, then New Age and some jazz.
TODAY: I'm undertaking a formidable project for guitars - transcribing Rachmoninov's second piano concerto in G Major. I'm looking for another 1-2 dreadnaught guitarists and bass guitar to play the piece (I figure to play the two-piano version of RACH 2 need at least two guitars and a bass guitar). You need to be very comfortable with playing the dreadnaught with finger-picks. I use metal banjo picks (Scruggs-style finger-picking). Interested?
