I've been playing music for years trying to find where I fit in. it was like a drug. As long as I was playing I was in Heaven but the minute the last note was played, it was back to the world for me. Multiple things happened to me all at the same time, cancer and retirement foremost. I decided that it was time for me to start thanking God for all of the times that He has carried me in life, even when I thought I was doing it myself. I decided to give back to God the talent that he gave to me so many years ago. Since that decision was made, I have never enjoyed playing so much. I still get that Heavenly feeling when I play but now, when the last note is played, I smile because I feel that He is looking down on me knowing that this was His end game all along.
