ABOUT

Hi there! :D My name is Jenna, and I am in the process of finding members for a band I have ideas for.

I'm looking for, ideally, an improv pianist, a male jazz singer (or a person with something like tenor or baritone register, whomever you identify as), someone to play upright bass, and a trumpet and/or trombone player, but I am open to other, or different members aswell. Mostly playing jazz.

This would be a semi-casual, semi-professional band that I'm hoping to play occasional gigs with at piano bars, hotels (hopefully eventually Disneyland events, i.e. Grand Californian), and restaurants during Christmas perhaps.

I'm in love with Musical Theatre, and would want to incorporate that into the band as well. As well as Jazz versions of Disney songs, and popular songs. Perhaps also songs that are more silly, or songs directed towards kids, as I have experience working with kids as well, and might wanna do a few kids shows. My background is in dance, and improv as well, so would love a fun group with a sense of humor willing to make semi-cheesy jokes during our gigs.
