ABOUT

-I am looking for a side project to keep myself busy.
-I have studio/recording experience and the ability to record my own guitars.
-I have pretty eclectic tastes in music, but my favorite genres blend rock/metal with orchestral elements.
-I prefer clean vocals, but a screams are ok if used in moderation.
-I make my own backing tracks and am planning on starting my own cover project.
-I like music that tells a good story, has an epic feel, touches one's heart, totally kicks ass or any combination of these things.
-In person, I have a cool and collected personality. On stage, I like to mess around and have fun.
-I don't do drugs and don't care to be around them.

EQUIPMENT

-Numerous 6 and 7 string electrics.
-A 4 and a 5 string bass.
-A line 6 XT live multi-effects unit.
-A Splawn Quick-Rod head (for recording) and a B52 AT-100 head.
-A mesa 4/12 cab (for recording), a Peavey 4/12 cab, a B52 2/12 cab.
-Keyboard midi controllers and a digital piano.
-Many microphones, but nothing super fancy.
-A crap-load of digital instruments from drums, synth, amp sims, to orchestral. I invested in East-West Studio software as well as the Native Instruments complete pack.
-A Black Lion dual pre-amp as well as a Sapphire Pro 40 audio interface.

I'm just going to stop now as I believe I've made my point. The biggest issue I have in equipment is the inability to record acoustic drums. I usually program them or have someone bring in an electronic kit. I just don't have the space nor experience.
