ABOUT

Hi im Dan i live in burnsville mn and im looking to either join an existing band or start one. i love music and am wanting to make it a profession.

i started music with 3 years of piano starting when i was 6 years old. i picked up the guitar when i was 8 and quickly learned everything 5 guitar instructors could teach me. i also played alto and bari sax from 5th grade till 10th grade which taught me to sight read. i continued playing guitar hours everyday and lead worship for Faith Evengelical Free Church of Austin MN all 4 years of highschool.

When i was 17 i began giving guitar lessons but currently i am not. i have given beginning guitar and piano lessons for 3 years and have had 7 students.

i started my first band when i was 12 years old and covered POD, Skillet, and blink 182 and wrote 3 originals. when i was 16 i started an alternative/screamo band named Avenging Autumn and wrote 5 songs and covered 15. we played for 2 years and a member leaving for college eventually led to our dismemberment.

from there i decided to assemble the best screamo band i could in southern minnesota and began auditions in 2006. 6 months and 10 musicians later, we had a complete band, picked a name and Followed by Fever was born. we played 35 shows and headlined 14 of them. big name bands that we've opened for: As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Chiodos, Underoath, Evergreen Terrace, The Devil Wears Prada, For All Those Sleeping.
Venues we played were: 1st Ave., The Enigma, minneapolis, eagles club (milwakee wi), rookies bar, rochfest, midwest skate park, various parties (rochester) . we were together 2 years and im currently still writing metal and hardcore with the drummer.

in 2008 i began schooling for a music tech degree at RCTC in rochester. i got A's and B's for all my projects for Electronic Music Composition I and II, Studio Production I and II (used Logic Pro 8 with a 7.0 surround system), and took music classes learning Solfage and aquiring pefrect pitch. even though i have alot of experience in the studio i feel my calling is to be on stage supporting a frontman with my guitar and not behind the scenes.

im looking for high functioning, punctual, good looking male members between ages 17 and 25 with reliable transportation, no emotional or girlfriend issues, and decent equipment. I NEED PEOPLE WHO FANS WILL PAY TO SEE!!
