Serpent Crown + Band in San Francisco, CA

ABOUT

Serpent Crown has been an active Bay Area heavy metal band for several years, gigging locally and completed several tours on the west coast. We are releasing out first EP this spring though an East coast record label named Horror Pain Gore Death Productions, and will need to do a tour to support the release.

While we have already have offers for a touring drummer we are looking for someone who may be more committed for future recordings, shows, and touring.

We are in the process of writing new material, and are looking the up the ante, making things a bit more brutal in terms of both heaviness and speed than in our most recent recording. We just need a capable and committed drummer who can help us with our mission.

Influences

Serpent Crown is essentially a marriage between heavy rock, thrash metal, with a touch of hardcore. Honestly it's hard for me to pinpoint any band that's be a specific influence but here are a bunch of bands that have inspired this project in ways that may or may not be obvious:

Today is the Day, Entombed, Slayer, (early) Metallica, Napalm Death, Black Sabbath, Exodus, Kreator, High on Fire, Pig Destroyer, Judas Priest, Sepultura, Crowbar, Amebix, Celtic Frost, Grave, Rush, Rotten Sound
