I am a hip hop beat maker who's always wanted to find a vocalist that can hear themselves on some of these beats. I can see a few different directions, but going towards a sound and feel that is part hiphop/R&B, part electronic, and maybe some other feels like 80s pop, depending on the samples/sounds used in the beats.
also, while im not against the standard themes (lyrics etc) that are found in the mainstream, my ideal would be to find someone who is a little darker/melancholy, indy and abstract.
