Everything. A youth in the Black Hills of the 1950s steeped me in the Country and Western music of our culture. The 1960s music revolution of San Francisco and Colorado saturated me in artists melding every kind of music with deep roots into exploding innovation. The Fillmore West and Fillmore East became second homes. Schoolmate Robbie Kreiger's guitar lead the Doors. Santana, Coltrane, Woodstock and on.
