Im Devin and I am 23 years old, and I am from Cabot, Arkansas. I have been playing music for about 9 years, and have played shows in Arkansas and Missouri. Guitar is my main thing, but I love to song write, I really cant think of a more expressive thing other than putting down words and telling a story that you really connect with, and others connect with. I am currently playing in the Chris Stephens Band, It is a from the ground up project but there is originals and an album halfway finished. We are working towards playing gigs and so far we have a drummer, and a bassist, would really love to find another guitarist who can play lead and rhythm, and an acoustic player, and if all goes well a dobro player would be awesome. Influences
My biggest guitar influence is Keith Urban, The guy is just an amazing all around artist and ive always admired his playing. and David Nail would have to be my favorite current writer, I kinda write in the same style so its very relateable for me, Also Im a big fan of Jason Isbell, John Mayer, Brad PAisley, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Blue October, Blake Shelton, Aranda. Sick Puppies, Cole Swindell, Sam Hunt, Florida Georgia Line, Drake , Parmalee, Bruno Mars, Zac Brown Band, Vince Gill, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Garth Brooks, Staind, Aaron Lewis, Rascal Flatts, Theory Of A Deadman, 3 Doors Down, Creed, Scott Stapp, etc.
EQUIPMENT
Well being a country fan im a big tele guy, but really I use a little bit of everything, especially My American Deluxe Strat. I tend to use my Martin Hd-28 for writing and recording. I play through an Egnater 65 Watt Renegade 4 X 10 and run a few pedals through it, including the likes of Wampler, MXR, and Lovepedal modulation. For Practice I just Play A Fender Vaporizor. Ill whip out a Les Paul here and there for a more rockier tune, and of course as is tradition, break out my Gibson ES-335 for some blues leads on songs!
