Influences

My musical influences span all genres, truly. I was lucky enough to be stuck in the car with my mom as a kid traveling two hours each way to Central Illinois to visit my grandma, so she introduced me to the oldies. My dad was a classic rock guy through and through, Eagles, Zepplin, Supertramp, Clapton, Bob Seeger, you name it. I grew up listening to 80s punk/new wave, transitioning right into the grunge era, and now I try to get my hands on anything good and unique, like Band of Horses, the Avett Brothers, but I always go back to the classics. The Band, one of my favorites, Skynyrd, The Doors, CCR, my kids all love country, so I have a lot of that floating around too.
Anything grunge, country, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, classic rock, Eagles, you name it, I know it.
