I started playing guitar at 21 and have played on and off since. I was in a band that played around Birmingham in the early 2000's. In 2010, I started playing drums and have swapped back and forth from drums to guitar. I now have both drums and a guitar rig. I would like to play drums in a band but would consider either drums or guitar.
I have played more gigs as a guitarist than a drummer with a ratio of guitar to drums at about 4 to 1.
Also, it's hard to rate myself on level of experience because it's so subjective and also because when I rate my level of drum play and see guys like Matt Halpern, or level of guitar play and see guys like Polyphia, the spectrum between 1 and 5 is pretty freaking wide.
Last.thing, I am not into drinking or doing drugs. I don't mind so much about drinking or smoking weed but I will avoid being around drugs.
