i play guitar and i'm currently learning the bass. i need music. i haven't played in a band since college, 10 years ago. i play everyday, and listen to music everyday. right now, i'm looking for people to play with, and if we like what we're doing, then perhaps we could form a band. i basically want to play with anyone and see what happens. not necessarily looking for a genre or label, but something pleasing to the ears

too many to list- elliott smith, tom waits, fugazi, delta blues, i grew up on gangsta rap & punk. i like a lot of hip-hop, 1990s indie rock, lou barlow, Kill Rock Stars label, Dischord label. dinosaur jr, wild flag, mary timony, the medications (washington d.c.) q and not u, fishbone, quasi. sam coomes is very influential for me in guitar playing. the roots (one of my favorite all-time bands) early r & b, funk, soul etc. i can respect anything genuine & honest. sonic youth, thurston moore, jim o'rourke, delaney davidson, holly golightly, billy childish, joe lally, ian mackaye- the evens, el guapo, antelope, unwound, the list goes on & on...
EQUIPMENT
2 electric guitars, acoustic guitar, bass. amps (1 big yamaha amp- good clean tone) and a few small practice amps (including 1 for bass & vocals) i have a few pedals that i enjoy experimenting with
