I'm a bass player/lead singer that has been playing for over 25 years, I started taking bass lessons again to try and improve (my instructor is incredible). I would like to start playing with other people again and put together a band, I haven't played seriously with anyone in quite some time. I also write music/songs/lyrics, I have been writing since I was 16 and have quite a big catalog.

Influences
I'm more into hard rock heavy metal music, that is also the style I tend to write in as well (for the most part). I also write acoustic songs as well, though some could be considered rock/metal ballads. My biggest musical influences are Black Sabbath, Mötorhead, Stone Sour/Slipknot/Corey Taylor, Corrosion of Conformity, Guns and Roses, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, and Motley Crüe. I like hard music that still has Melody, I like to sing not growl (although I have a little bit in a few songs I have written). I do enjoy extreme metal (Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, eyehategod, black metal) and would like to have some of that influence at times.
