I'm already in a band but I have some free time a couple of days per month. Right now I am looking for a drummer for a side project in a heavy style inspired by the bands listed below, and maybe some influences that you might bring with you.
I'm looking to do both covers and originals, roughly half and half.

Influences
Sabbath, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Sleep, Ozzy, High on Fire, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Metallica, Dying Fetus, etc. If I were to list all the bands I've been into I'd never finish this profile. Basically hard rock and heavy metal.
I also enjoy listening to other styles of music and they somehow find their way into my rock style of playing. Other styles are New Wave, 80's Pop. Always open to hearing new stuff as long as it has that syncopation that gets me grooving. And great melodies where singers actually hit the notes they're trying to hit.

Two electric guitars, two bass guitars, an acoustic guitar, a practice amp for guitar, a Marshall head, and a good bass amp. And a big mixer which I haven't learned how to use yet.
